Ignacio González is an Agricultural Business Consultant and is the Associate Director of the Farmlands Business Unit in Terramar International Real Estate in Uruguay.
He is an Agronomist with a Master in Applied Science received from Lincoln University, Canterbury, NZ in July 2004. His primary specialization is in farmlands advising & sourcing for overseas and domestic investors in Uruguay.
He is also engaged in advising overseas investors in new agribusiness ventures, development and management, farmlands valuation and connecting investors with main agribusiness industry operators in Uruguay.
In his over 25 years of professional practice he has helped several individual and corporate investors successfully enter the farmlands business market in Uruguay. He has also worked as an independent consultant for international corporations.

Ignacio Gonzalez graduated from the Facultad de Agronomía, Universidad de la República, Uruguay where he obtained a BSc. in Agronomy, Minor: Livestock & Crops in October 1995. In July 2004 he obtained a Master in Applied Science in Farm Management Consultancy degree at Lincoln University, Canterbury, NZ in July 2004.

Uruguay resident and national. Graduated from Facultad de Ciencias Económicas, Universidad de la República O. del Uruguay, where he obtained a Bsc. in Economics. In December 2003 he obtained a Master in Business Administration at Universidad de Montevideo (IESE, Barcelona, Spain).
Jose Luis has more than 12 years of experience in key positions in the Uruguayan financial system as the head of the treasury department and corporate banking divisions of local Banks in Uruguay,(Deutsche Bank, Banco Montevideo, among others).
He's been part of corporate finance teams, leading important private restructurings and public offerings and the capital markets operations of relevant local and international companies such as Park Place Entertainment (Hilton Corp hotel casino subsidiary), later acquired by Harrah's Entertainment. BM 100MM global bonds issue, among others.
He’s been advisor for relevant local and regional companies over the last 20 years, being on the board of directors or advising the shareholders directly.
He's been a member of the board of Uruwood SA as the syndic of the company for the last 14 years. Uruwood SA, owned by UPM that has the property of the farmlands and forests of UPM Kymmene, the Finnish group founded in 1995 after the merger of Kymmene Corp and Repola Ltd with its subsidiary United Paper Mills Ltd, creating one of the world leaders in the forestry industry that owns 2 of the 3 pulp plants in Uruguay.

Our Team
Faustino is a highly skilled agricultural business professional with a strong background in agribusiness. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Business Management and a Postgraduate program in Livestock Business from Universidad de la Empresa, Uruguay. Faustino is currently pursuing a Master's in Business Administration with a focus on Agribusiness from Universidad Austral in Argentina.
With extensive experience in formulating and developing productive and financial projects for farms, Faustino has contributed to several large-scale and important projects in the agribusiness sector.
He has also served as a professional advisor for various agricultural companies, gaining a profound understanding of the diverse opportunities within the sector.
